Find out more about our Coasteering sessions below:

Cornish Coasteering was the first activity set up by Coll and Henry in 2014 and is currently the most popular of Cornish Adventure’s activities.

The activity starts at our top of the line HQ on Dinham Farm Campsite where we have our free car park. We will get kitted up here and then use our minibus to head down to our epic coasteering locations Port Quin or Port Gaverne.

Port Quin is our sheltered spot whenever the surf becomes a bit too rough we can take cover behind the mouth of Port Quin bay. Highlights at Port Quin include the infamous Smugglers Cave, the Gulley of almost certain doom( awesome wave machine) and Sea gull Ledge jump.

Port Gaverne is more exposed to bad sea conditions so we only head there when the sea is calm. If you join us on a calm day then you can expect lots of caves including Sea Badger cave, Cathedral cave and the awesome geyser of the Blue cave. Port Gaverne also boasts some epic wave machines and of course the famous jump spots of The ledge at Zorn, Fisherman’s Point and Tags Pit.

Whichever location we choose our experienced instructor team will make sure you challenge yourselves and enjoy every moment of your time with us. Join our Cornwall Coasteering sessions at Dinham Farm for a great day out!

Here we see the biggest jump on the corner at Port Quin called ‘the corner’

Testimonials

John Kanaka Knackered ?

We want to sincerely thank Coll, Charlie and Harry for their warmth, their attentiveness and their exuberance of professionalism provided throughout our most joyous experience with them. The sheer exhilaration of ocean swimming, cave hunting, combined with jumping from great heights into a beautifully clear ocean is a memory we’ll share as family and friends for ever. For the care that these guys provided us at all times was so very appreciated.

We can’t wait to regain our strength and challenge ourselves to come back very soon. We can totally endorse this fantastic business and say that the singing in the van, the hot chocolate after and the feeling of being John Kanaka Knackered, was worth every moment and an absolute blast. Thanks chaps from Nigel, Laura, Grace, John, Lesley, James and Isobel.

Amazing experience

We had a fantastic time with Cornish Coasteering. We were a large family group with ages ranging from 50s to two 9 year old girls.

Coll and Henry were absolutely fantastic guides / trainers. We felt very safe at all times, learnt a lot and also had a lot of fun.

As well as climbing along cliffs and diving in, we also got to go into a sea cave – a never-to-be-forgotten experience! A few of our group also did the highest jump!

The whole trip took about 4 hours from start to finish, we cannot rate the instructors highly enough – they were so patient and encouraging. It was a completely new experience for us, but something we would definitely recommend to anyone who likes the sea! The ride back singing sea-shanties in the minibus was also brilliant! Would definitely do again!

Instructors Were Great

We went coasteering on 8/06/21. I took my two sons who are 13, and 8. It was a truly brilliant experience! The instructors were great, friendly, reassuring! Bit of a trek to the top of the hill, but the views are worth it! My kids can swim, easy 100M, but in the sea the little fella did get tired! Its obviously so much different than swimming in a pool, but the instructors gave him a tow rope and pulled him along when he started flagging!

Which I was so grateful for, didn’t feel like he slowed the group down at all. Its full on, its a lot of swimming, we were all exhausted by the end but again 100% worth it! the wave cave was brilliant and such a great confidence builder for kids! thanks guys will definitely be back next time we are in Cornwall x

Highly Recommend

Fantastic coasteering session- I went with my 2 kids aged 12 and 13 and Charlie and Col were such great instructors – made us feel safe and we had loads of fun! Made sure my daughter especially was safe with the management of her diabetes and blood sugar levels when we were out there in the sea- made sure she was safe.

We had a great time and the shanties in the minibus ride there and back and the hot chocolate were added bonuses!! Highly recommend!
